TEFL/ TESOL 이란?

Tefl / Tesol 이란...? Teaching English as a Foreign Language / Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages 의 약자로 영어를 자국어로 사용하지 않는 사람들을 대상으로 영어를 가르칠 수 있게 교수법을 배우는 과정으로, 수료 후에는 미국(Tefl Institute)/영국 (London Teacher Training College)에서 발급하는 Certificate (수료증) / Diploma(학위증)을 받으실 수 있습니다.

이 프로그램은 영어교사가 되고자 하는 사람들에게 Writing, Reading, Pronunciation, Speaking, Grammar, Teaching Techniques, Lesson Plan등의 교육 방법을 전문적으로 가르치게 됩니다. 또한 테솔 자격증은 국제적으로 인증된 제2국어 교수 자격증으로쎠 Writing, Reading, Teaching Techniques, Lesson Plan등의 교육 방법을 비롯한 이론, 프레젠테이션의 과정을 이수하여 받게 되는 Certificate 혹은 Diploma를 뜻합니다."

Tefl 과Tesol 의 차이점은..?

Tefl 은 주로 영국에서 시작이 되었고, Tesol은 주로 미국에서 시작되었다. 현재는 미국/영국 뿐만 아니라 전세계적으로 테플/테솔기관을 갖추고 있다. 명칭 만 다를 뿐 둘은 모두 같다. 따라서 둘은 모두 국제영어교자 자격증으로써 영어교사의 자질과 권한을 갖는 인증서이다

TESOL 프로그램

120 hours of TESOL (100 hour coursework and 20 hour student observation). TESOL training available 24/7 over a two month period part time with a university professor and 20-25 other students. This is conducted in a virtual classroom using blackboard.com.
